David: the two main things that bother me are the unnecessary fluff aka the swirly doodads around the bottom fixtures, as well as the inability to move the player and target frames.

On top of that, I don't like the chat window as Aiiane posted about it makes things difficult to read and I would like to be able to reposition things to just get a better feel for the UI.

You bring up some interesting points Aiiane. the inability to remove the transpancy of the chat panels has been major problem for me (as my vision is not perfect). The rest of the UI though I have been pleased with, either, it is what I am used to, or have already been able to change.

I was particularally pleased with Aion's sound options, Sound levels are very important to me as I tend to play from sound and not rely fully on graphical pointers. While being able to change when different sounds play would have been a major plus, these options to me seem some what over the top for me to say that they are a must.

I do see your point Ayonyx, however, Personally I find Aions UI reasonably customizable. I would be interested to hear what you would want in your interface customization for Aion.

I can't believe that an MMORPG launching today without any degree of customization is even possible. To see that happening kind of scares me, for the industry to still accept something like this without a giant amount of hostility is bad.

To me it seems like this is a step in the wrong direction and I would love to get some justification from the Korean developers such as why the game wasn't given some form of interface customization.

Hopefully at some point in the future we will get some form of interface customization, at which point I might be a little more interested in the game... I guess I'll keep playing until I find something worth playing.

Hopefully at some point in the future we will get some form of interface customization, at which point I might be a little more interested in the game… I guess I’ll keep playing until I find something worth playing.
