It seems, though, that almost every single one of them has found some unique (or not so unique) way to screw things up just enough to make it look terrible. Whether it be overlapping elements, poor color choice, or trying to cram too much into too little, nearly every theme out there just doesn’t work out in the end.

Unfortunately, this seems to mostly result in people clustering around the few themes that don’t suck, and thus we wind up with 1000′s of look-alike blogs. Joy.
